Snow Panda

It’s been a while! But Anyways, it’s getting hotter nowadays here at the Philippines .. Summer is here I guess and  I’m pretty excited. So, Here’s another Korean Dessert Café blog. Enjoy!

Snow Panda

It’s a Korean Dessert Café that I’ve been wanting to try ever since it started franchising here in the philippines, they offer different flavors of bingsu (shaved ice) they also have waffles and toast, special tea, and cool drinks to match up the hot weather.

The place is really good, comfy sofa’s and it has a very nice ambiance, not too spacy tho but it’s good if you want to have alone time.  There’s cute panda display at the entrance too welcoming you.

We ordered cookies and cream frappe and choco java chip frappe. Choco Java Chip suits my taste buds coz I really love frappe, cookies and cream is too sweet it’s like they poured a lot of sugar.

The Special waffle with mango on top with some chocolate syrup and vanilla ice cream. It’s not that good, the waffle is not fully cooked plus it is plain, we’re not that satisfied with how the waffle is too plain. It’s  6/10, not bad tho. Still looking forward to try their bingsu.

Spicy Rice Cake?!

Heard of it?! Nah?! Well Korea has it.

We went to Hobing a Korean Dessert Café, the place was good for hanging out and if you’re a K-Pop fanatic (like me) you’ll enjoy the food while watching you’re favorite Korean Music Video (because they played it there and it’s awsome!)
Tteukbokki it’s one of the famous Korean Street Food you must try when you visit Korea, it’s our first time trying it .. So basically one bowl is good for 2-3 persons. It comes with a fish cake, sausages and motzarella cheese on top. While ordering they will ask you what level of spicyness you like so if you’re a spicy food lover you can try the extra spicy one but since it’s our first time we ordered the mild one. The thing is it’s still super spicy ~ but we loved it, it has a distinct after taste that let’s you eat more.

(I looooove the sausages!)

To minimize the spicyness we also ordered my all time favorite, Honey Butter Toast! It actually tones down the spicyness of the tteukbokki since it’s sweet and it has vanilla ice cream on top.

Lastly, the never ending bingsu! They actually have different flavors of bingsu but we haven’t tried those so maybe next time. But this one’s a must try! Definitely.

To wrap it up, here’s our snap.

A taste of Seolhwa

Seoul, Korea. It’s one of my dream destination but since I’m still studying I’d like to experience Korea here in the PH (not literally) but the food, of course we have it here in PH.

Cafe Seolhwa. It’s a Korean dessert cafe which serves different types of Korea’s best dessert’s. We ordered three different flavors of shaved ice (it was heaven) my cousin ordered mango cheese, and chocolate bingsu, while i ordered brownie bingsu with some honey butter toast. I still taste how satisfying the bingsu and the toast was, all i can say is that I’ve tasted Korea and it was amazing. Hehe.

The shaved ice was to die for, it has a snow like texture that literally melts in your mouth. One bowl is more likely good for two persons but we ordered one for each. Since it’s shaved ice I thought that the brownies would froze but it’s not! It’s still chewy and yummy.

I’ve been to café seolhwa many times and I’d always love to come back and try different flavors of bingsu and of course the place was really comfy. ❤
